Horeke Wharf and Boat
Ramp
The wharf
and boat ramp is just beside the Horeke Hotel. The locals use the wharf
for fishing or just relaxation and a chat. The boat ramp is on the right
of the wharf. Here locals and tourists put their boats into the Harbour. Many
ships used to land here in the past, but these days are well and truly
over. There are not many ships top be seen on the Hokianga these
days.
